Semester 1 commencing!!

It'd finally reach the end of orientatiocn week. Next week its study time. Semester 1 with 2 laws. Foundation of Laws, Law of Torts and Contract Law. I've bought few of the text books. It's costly. It's thick and with uncountable words. It's much more thicker than the bible and the words are slghtly smaller. Furthermore, no pictures! I'll have to do lots of readings in order to achieve excellent grades and improve my language too. According to people, it sux! All the best to Form 6 students on their mid semester examination. Fat, please don fail ur medic paper. Don't forget ur moto "I wanna make my mother proud!". So similar with mine. " I wanna make my parents proud!" We boh work hard for it. For a better tomorrow.

Victor Harbour-Urimbirra Wildlife Park

The peer mentors gave us some pet food to feed the kangaroo. Besides Kola Bear, this is the only animals that can interact. They're not mature yet I guessed. The old ones can really punch and kick. No jokes. U can try if u don belief? They're roaming in the wild.
Does this looks like stray dogs in Malaysia? Well, perhaps. It's Dingo. Even they're paired up too. How impressive. However some dingos fighting over each other. Guess its because of the female dingo. Heh. Pretty much like human.
I just manage to touch the Kola bear instead of hugging it. It's busy eating. Should have told it to say cheese to the camera..
I'm not sure what's this bird actually. It's with nice feather. I saw it in the aviary. Guess summer is the season of mating? Lot's of birds are paired up. I also dream to have that.
This i guessed its parrot? I'm not really sure. I'm just curious how bird show their love to each other. Human usually hugs, kiss or something. This is the way birds show their love.
What's it? My friend thought it was such a cute rock. Indeed, its a nail. Looks nice.
I've walk around Granite Island in around an hour time perhaps. Taking some pictures along the way. This is another high school students who went for the trip.
This isn't some sorts of natural wallpaper. It's for real. What a panoramic view!
THe Granite Island after 20 minutes walk from Victor Harbour. The driver lie to us that it'd took 40 minutes to walk there.
The horse operating tram to granite island. Sympathy with my dear friend.
This horse is Thomas. Heh. I want to ride and touch his hair but don know why it turned to me suddenly. Scare me off. Heh~

Think too much?

Think too much is the common excuse that people are using nowadays. When you're doubting them regarding something? Well, everyone tend to think that think too much is more lightly to slant to the negative side perception. In my opinion, it's really wrong. Several people try to avoid the questions by answering :"don think too much". I do think a lot often. Beyond imagination. I've wondered what will happen to both of us? Will there be a start? What will happen between good friends? Can our friendship grow and persist? I'm used to predict people reaction when I asked something. Somehow I got it correctly so no much surprise in my life. I'm neither pessimistic nor optimistic. For me, I'll think the worst results to be expected and the best. At least if its really bad, we've prepared ourselves for it. If its good, HAPPY of course. Alzheimer disease can be avoided too.

Which is better?

In the morning, I can hardly woke up cause last night I slept around 3 30am. Today, we went to city to check out some accomodations with reasonable price. At first there's this Unihouse which is just opposite University of Adelaide. The prices are shocking. They do 'sharpen their knives' always. Of course, I wouldn't mind if someone were to share it with me at $165 per person. It's just less than 5 minutes walk to class. When semester 1 starts, I can woke up around 8 20am. 10 minutes for bath, 10 minutes for breakfast, then 5 minutes to dream, then head to school. How enjoying. Besides, we also went to UniSA east campus to ask for accomodation service. Guess what? We saw something which is cheap. It includes everything and its just $125. Of course without food. We're still new there, so we're looking for buses to that place for inspection. At last we found it. It was like 10 minutes of bus ride to that place. It's very near compare to the place I'm living now which is approximate 30-40 minutes by bus. The room was larger than the one I'm staying now. It looks clean but the kitchen is a little messy. So far, there're only two girls and 1 boys living there. It's nice with two of us share one big room at $80 per person. It might be permanent. Have to depend whether the boy still rents it or not. If for me, I would prefer to stay in Unihouse, its more convenient. Well, if only someone were to share with me. Convenient of Cheap? Which C sounds nice? I did something crazy too. I went to Adelaide Metro info centre and take all the brochures of bus route throughout Adelaide to study. It's also the first time I have my meals out there at Nando's. Its $15.95 for a chicken. Two person sharing.

Life's growing

It's my second Wednesday here in Adelaide. Life's getting more interesting here. The weather is getting hotter too. At least it's only 32 degrees. Hmmm, I woke up around 11 30 in the morning just because of the alarm rang. Then, I went down for lunch. I was suppose to go to the city to explore further. However, I went to Coles with some friends to buy some stuffs and survey the groceries price cause 3 of us will move out soon. We've fun time planning and joking what we gonna cook there. We'll ring out our mum quite often for the recipe. At least, I still ever cooked in KL but not many people belief in it. They're like Zhi Gang will cook, Oh my gosh! Indeed I do cook but just limited dishes. We bought The Advertizer, which is one of he newspaper. I've found some houses to let which is quite near to Adelaide University North Terrace Campus. Might go for inspection on Friday after the Victor Harbour trip. If its in satisfied condition, we'll say goodbye to Hosanna Height. The place here wasn't that bad just its very far to the campus. If we were to live out there, we can save lots of bullets too. It's not that I didn't brought enough bullets, but why waste instead of saving? We went there by foot under the hot sun. Two of them sweat a lot but not me. We have our fun time joking along the way. There's a funny incident happened. One of them went along with us to Coles just to buy lighter. When I shop for body lotion, he asked the pharmacist are they selling lighter? Lolx. The pharmacist give him a look, we care bout people's health, aren't we? Then, he went to the supermart cigarette counter. The seller refuses to sell it to him. Indeed he's 20 this year. The seller asked whether there's any document(s) to prove he's above 18. Well, he showed him the driving licence. Too bad not accepted. He asked for another document. He showed him the student card and OSHC card. Nah, not accepted too. Then he was pissed, he showed him the Identification Card of Malaysia. Me and another guy was laughing there. We wondered, do Aussie knows what the first 6 number stands for. It turned out as we expect. He didn't know what's the first 6 numbers for. The seller asked for his passport. Guess what he replied? Damn it, I came to supermart to shop groceries? U expect me to bring passport everywhere I go? At last, he still cant get a lighter. He was cursing badly. Besides, I was informed that Sharon, my cousin and her mum was planning for some activities during mid-term break. If I'm not wrong, they'll go Gold Coast and Melbourne. Two of the most fascinating entertainment ground in Australia. At least, I've gotta save some money or find a part time job out there to pay for the trip. What's in my mind is, aren't winter starts from June onwards? Nevermind. June is just 3 more months to go. I've still out of idea what I can prepare for June. Hope the inspiration is here as soon as possible.

Black Out

It's night time here. There goes two explosive sounds. Is there anyone playing fire crackers there? I doubt so. Then someone knocked on my door. Is there any electricity in ur room? I was surprised. Why there's such question? Then I tried to turn on the lights but it just doesn't work out. I checked on my labtop. It's using dc instead of ac supply. It's really an unpleasant start for a night. By that time, I just had my dinner. Its around 7 30 here dy. Well, its summer. The sky will only turn dark around 8. Then, we few friends went to have a walk around Hosanna Height since we haven't do so. It's getting darker and darker. The sky are wonderful. I mean the stars. It's just nice and it's like some sorts of horoscope. Well, I can't tell which horoscope isit. I don take astronomy. We're chilling out there, waiting for the technician to substitute the transformer with a generator temporarily. Everyone knows Australian won't work after 5 right? I'm very glad that they'd at least use a generator. After a 3 hours of darkness, here comes light. Actually, I was typing it half way then low bat. There isn't any black out for the past 6 years. I'm really a 'lucky' one. I came here, experience heat wave for a day and black out which never is so rare! At least its fine now.

Some pictures

It's the car that the bride and groom travelled with. Usually its the groom opened the door for the bride right? Surprisingly, the driver did that. The groom is trying to be funny there. Blowing the flowers. I was laughing but not loud. Later they whacked me. How lovely this couples? They're able toget married on Valentine's Day. Maybe  they met each other on Valentine's Day few years back. Well, this year Valentine's Day was the memorable one for me. The only one XD

This scene is very rare in Malaysia. It's purely blue. Light blue. It's not polluted. Unlike Malaysia, there's only brown sea instead of blue. It's really enjoying to be there, even though the sun light was strong.
Along Rundle Mall, there's this dinosaur skeleton. I guessed its T-rex if I've not mistaken. It's suppose to be in the Musuem, but I'm not sure why its in front of the shopping plaza.
Here goes the two metallic balls. I heard Jason's brother said it signify something of Adelaide. Well, he told me a week ago. Its normal to forget right? If you disagree with me, do you still remember what your parents told you when you're in the shopping mall last week?

When I'm at Glenelg beach, I saw another pair of bride and groom. However, their tradition are quite unique. Obviously there's a difference. The bride didn't stay together with the groom. I'm surprised. Culture shocked! Nevertheless, I sincerely wish them happy always.
I found this funny store in China Town. Aren't it suppose to be International instead of 'Kuo Chi'? Well, maybe its the owner name. Or they purposely named it like this so people like me will advertise their store online. Hehe.

Can't wait for this Friday, I'll be visiting Victor Harbour while Sunday will be going to Adelaide port and Dolphin Cruise. Hope its nice. Why do I take laws? There's a humorous answer.I take laws so I can be a "loyal" to you. =)

Happy Valentine's Day

It's 14th February! I guess lots of people will be excited for it. I'm in Adelaide with not many close friends around. A friend which we just know each other for a week decided to take us for a tour around the city-Rundle Mall, China Town, Glenelg Beach. I slept around 3 in the morning, it's almost dawn. So it's natural for me to wake up late. It was around 9 30 in the morning. I'm sick of the internet connections in Hosanna Heights!! There're always problems. 3 hours of time wasted. Jz like that. The weather is perfect. It's around 30 degrees. It isn't that cooling and not that hot too. After lunch, we went to the city to setup a broadband and also 'haunting' for lotion due to the extremely dry atmosphere here. After the beach, we went back to city via tram. Then there's a lady with alcohol on her hands there, yelling and cursing out loud but no one bothers. And here comes the inspector was bout to fine her for bringing alcohol in. Guess what? She's safe. Why? Just because she told the inspector I love you. The inspector feels happy and just go away. I was laughing out loud there. Seriously loud. Girls special right! I agree. There's another funny incident that happens today. We're at the beach, and requested the locals to take photo for us. "Say Cheese", he said. We said ok. Then the lady beside was laughing. What the heck!! Haha. Today its Valentine, there's couples everywhere. Roses, chocolates, teddy bears are sold everywhere. Yup, no doubt I'm still single, but I'm still happy. Very happy indeed. Today was so special. I miss you =)

This is the very pig. It's golden. At Rundle Mall, in front of Myer. Besides, there's also a famour 2 balls statue in Adelaide. I forget to take a photo of it. Next time will show u.

The beach was so clean and lots of people are sun bathing or having a picnic? Some play volleyballs. Eventhough the signboard there states no diving, teenagers will always go against the law and did it. How good if the beaches in Malaysia are like those in Australia.

We're going to Glenelg beach after China Town via tram. It's like Commuter in Selangor. It's crowded. When we reach there, we saw this pony and surprisingly the two camels behind. I thought those were statues, but the pony was about to ram at me when I go near to take pictures with it.
We head to the China town. I can see lots of China people there. You can tell from their way of speaking. The supermarket there is what we actually see when we're in Kuching but just a little smaller in size.
We went to Victoria Square where there's this lovely fountain. It suppose to be one of the tourist attractions in Adelaide. Quite a lot of people take pictures there.

I've no idea wad title to give

It's a very good morning. It isn't that hot, and not that cold too. Moderate climate. This is what i prefer. Again, nightmares always visit me when I'm here. Hope it's just nightmare and wouldn't come truth. Actually, I have nothing much to write about for today. It's just simple routine--sleeping, gaming, chatting, skyping, eating, drinking(of course its H2O). I'm very lazy to go to university to attend for the seminar. Yesterday it give me no choice. I went there and reached my room approximately in 2 hours. Just went there for enrolment. It's about 3 laws for a semester. Semester 1-Foundation of Laws, Law of Torts 1, Contracts. Semester 2-Law of Torts 2, Property Law, Principles of Public Law. The timetable is quite spread out. 3 days of school and 2 days to sleep. How nice? In addition, the break time between every lecture is 2 hours. I just have about 16 hours of lectures and seminars for 5 days. I'll be very free by then. Unlike other courses, their timetable are packed. They study from 8 to 5. Exceptions for commerce students. They've much more free time than I do. What should I do tomorrow? I'll go to the city, signed up for broadband, take some pictures to put it in. The funny ones. My cousin Joyce was complaining that it has so many words but very few pictures. Meanwhile Tzin Yee said she spotted lots of grammar errors. Lolx. Thanks for the complaint, I'll try to make it better. However, I couldn't helped much on grammar. I just typed what's in my mind without thinking, so sometimes it appears like direct translation. I'm lazy to check too. Just hope the readers don't mind. If u're so particular about grammar errors, I suggest you would better go read essay instead of blog. Or other option, if u have the time, I'll be delighted if u can just correct me and put it in the comment box. Thanks a lot. =)

Day off Uni.

It's Wednesday. The weather is still the same as few days before. Windy just faint sunlight. Strange summer thou.  It's still the international students' orientation week. There's library tour and some other seminars but i find it rather useless, so i make up my mind to stay in my room. Instead of wasting the bus fare just to waste sometime which I was doing the past 2 days. Last night I've a nightmare. This morning was rather moody and keep thinking of the nightmare. Guess what? My hands finally turns pink and sweating! Unlike few days before, my hands are 95% white! Nah~ It's not the temperature gets higher. Just i switch the heater to maximum so I'm able to experience the weather in Malaysia although I'm not there. When it's hot, always gotta drink a lot. Drink a lot, then you'll have to pee always. Out there is still very cooling. Doesn't hope to go out if not necessary. Hmmm, its just 11.28am in Malaysia. The day is still young. What should I do? I really have no idea thou. Some of my friends went to Universities. Might as well did what I usually did-chatting, songs. It's better to keep myself busy. Or else, I'll think a lot. Then mood swing again! Tomorrow its the enrolment for my faculty. Gotta waste the ticket again. Just go for an hour enrolment. Hope the timetable are released soon then I can try to find some part time jobs then. Or there's another options. I'll just take the textbook(s), read again and again till i can rewrite it in the opposite way round. Sometimes I wonder, I rather study in Kuching with my family around me than being here alone. =(

2nd day of Orientation

It's second day of orientation, but basically nothing much I can say bout it. I just attend a seminar "Managing Money" then i went off to deal with my student card which I'm suppose to do it yesterday. Just because I didn't bring the actualy passport. I was like a zombie in the student card. I don know whether they adjust it or its really like that. I'm so fair. Or maybe because the cold weather here makes my face pale? Today I only woke up around 8.20 in the morning, do some laundry, ate breakfast then went to the school. I've slept about 8 hours but still a little exhausted. Last night I chat with few of my friends(Kimberley, Tzin Yee, Dhilip, and much more) and Karen =) chat till quite late-10pm(GMT+8). However, its worth it if I can talk to her always. While waiting at the bus stop, I met another Hong Kong girl-Chloe if i'm right with her name. Another humorous fellow. After i got my student card, I proceed to the ANZ Bank, Rundle Mall branch to open a new account and deposit the bankdraft over. Feel insecure for bringing so much money with me thou. I'm surprised that there's always street presentation along the rundle street, people playing music etc. I follow the Aussie style, with my lunch box, i sat on the bench, ate my lunch while watching they performance. Then, its time to go back. It's just around 1sth. Oh ya, I was almost missing when I'm in rundle street! Then through landmarks, I found my way out. It's small indeed. Easy job. =)

This garbage trucks passed by while I was waiting at the bus stop this morning. It's rather small but its' more pleasant in smell in comparison with Malaysia's garbage truck. The driver will do the rubbish collecting unlike Malaysia which few people is for a simple job. (My point of view)

The cards I have for now. It can be seen that its totally two different people. But it's me, I'm very different. I have various names. Funny.

This are the bus ticket's here. The blue is single trip which cost $2.10 for tertiary students. The charcoal one is $7.30 for ten trips but only for weekdays around 9am-3pm. The red one cost $13.80 and also for ten trips but it can be used 365 days a year. Of course, I'd always choose to go and come back around 9am-3pm. I'm very thrifty :P

It's one of the free gifts from Adelaide University. A coin collector with a pig shape. Of course the watch isn't. I bought it at Rm650 after discount. There's also pigs and piglets in gold colour at the centre of rundle mall. And the statues of two balls which makes Adelaide popular. This Saturday I'l be going downtown again. By that time, I'll take their pics and showed you.

This is few of the free gift that Adelaide University gives to International Students. They knew what students need. I didn't brought a sling bag, they provided it. One of my friend from Seremeban didn't brought bottle, they provided it too. =)

It's the first day to university?

It's february 9, 2009. The first day I enter University of Adelaide. How is it like? Well, its just normal except for the structure which is very traditional. I've walked past Rundle Mall, Myer which was just a street long. It's quite small and that's it. Not many places to go shopping. I packed some sandwiches to school so i can save some money instead of using it for lunch. The price was fantastic. It is equivalent to the price is Malaysia but after u convert it, u will feel the pain. This morning i woke up around 6 45 in the morning. Hardly woke up because last night I slept around 1sth. Still cant adpat to the time here. I was still following Malaysian time which is 10 30pm when i slept. I never sleep that early before. I went to bath, but surprisingly, no one is bathing in morning. They just change then went to uni. I met those Hong Kong and China girls and guy during breakfast around 7 30 in the morning. They showed me the way to the university. No doubt they're kind but they speak Cantonese. It's really funny when they're about to speak English to me, their pronounciation is amusing. I've no pictures of them for the moment. It isn't good that i take their pictures when i just knew them. Even you can imagine that Hong Kong girls definitely are much more pretty than Malaysians. The bus fare is $2.10 for tertiary students per trip, and roughly 40 minutes to destination. It's very time consuming. However, I've bought multi trip ticket at $13.80 for tenth trip. At least it's a more reasonable price. I bought a 3 prepaid pack with $9.95. See how long can the $10 last. Well, I'm afraid that I have made a wrong decision for doing law instead of engineering. Many people told me that laws is a tough course. If i failed, I would have wasted a lot of my dad's money. Scared!! Isit a right choice? I'm uncertain. It's quite warm today too. When u under the sun, u feel the hot, when the wind blows, u'll definitely shiver no matter how many layers of fats u have if u aren't with ur jacket. Hopes the best for everything. I'm still homesick.. Miss my family..

My friends and Adelaide.

This is Joyce. A very good friend of mine. She's charming. This picture was taken in her house. Her house is nice and looks like a palace thou. She's still having phobia in driving. Beore I leave to Adelaide, she spends a lot of time with me, hang out and chat. She somehow is afraid of people misunderstanding or blame her, and she'd explain and explain. Yet i'm just joking but she take it seriously. This can show that how much she treasures friendship. Appreciate her as my very good friend.

This is Tommy, a friend of mine since I was in primary. Before he used to be a naughty boy, bullying me just because he's bigger in size. It's the another way round. I dominate the game. XD. However, he gots the brains too. He's currently doing medicine in Monash. Now he's still triple digits in weight. That day he went to my house and weight himself. He looks so unbelievable that he's 110kg. Hope he can cut some weight and go to Melbourne asap. His hope is there.

Tzin Yee, my friend since I was in secondary 2. Then we became nice friend, good friend then best friend. She's in Nilai, even though it was near for her to go to KLIA to send me off, if she doesn't wish to, she wouldn't be there.. Yet she accompanied me till almost 8pm at KLIA. When I was nostalgic. I appreciate her more than every of my friends. She's no.1 among all friends i had. Whenever sad, happy, frustrated, she'll listen and comfort.

It's one of the houses which i manage to take a photo of it while passing by. I wonder whether every houses here are fenceless? Aren't they afraid of theft, robbers, burglars? Even some are with fences but i think its for decoration. It's so short and dangerless.

This is the prettiest bus stop that I seen all the way when I'm walking from Hosannah Height to Coles Supermart to buy washing powder only. Now then I realize Malaysia has a much better bus stop. It's bigger by how 3 times i guess. The hygience will be worst by a million times. It's about 50 minutes walk from the place i stayed to the supermart. To and fro of course. Too bad I forget to take a picture of the supermart, its really small. Just a storey. Today its Sunday, i'm no longer that homesick. My parents will skype with me at night. Hope its every night.

I'm leaving ......

I've reached Adelaide safe and sound. Homesick will haunt me when I'm really too free.. Think of my two king-size brothers, my parents and my grandma, also my bff-Tzin Yee. It's really bored. Couldn't find a person to chat. I just get to know few people around here. Only their names and have a brief talk with them. My room sucks badly. The air-conditional produce hot air instead of cool air. It's summer!! 43 degrees. My lips are very dry. Should have brought along moisturizer. My skin are glowing dy. If I were to stand under the sun for few more minutes, a fire might appeared. I was stucked at the Customs this morning when I arrived. Brought too much money. And I swear i wouldn't use MAS. Always asked me to sit upright. How to rest? I'm so restless and cant sleep. Paid so much yet make me suffer for the 7 and half hour. The person who's suppose to fetch me gone missing and only turned up around 8 45. I've been waiting like a fool there. Luckily the people there are kind. They helped me to call Hosannah Heights, if not, i'll be an idiot for the day. One thing shocked me, a lady said, u speak fluent English! I was wondering, does Malaysians English sucks bad times? Adelaide was a small place, very good for studies, cause there isn't any entertainment. It's orientation on Monday. A Sunday to pass. What should i do? Should I explore the town myself or wait for Kimberley? Hope she get well soon. Thanks to Ty and Tommy for sending me off. I appreciate the both of u, now and always. Let's c how my room is like. The pics is fantastic, when u saw it, its terrible. The internet connections here are fast but the pay can kill u!!

A Great Day-31st January 2009

I was busy throughout the day. Didn't get to spend time writing till now. Yesterday indeed was a fantastic day. In the morning, woke up, take a bath then head to Wei Ting's house. I've been a year since I last saw her, and yet her voice is still 'wawa'. Couldn't help i guess. Meet Joyce there.  Then they came over to my house, sitting, chatting whilte Ty is busy with her assignments. She likes last minute a lot. Around 3pm, Ty fetched us to Joyce's house. I've been there again. Actually plans to watch movie but it's more enjoying to chat. We can talk non-stop for 3 hours. Amazing isn't it? Night time is sister's bbq party. I'm still chatting with them and ignoring the time that its 7 45pm.. Then Jake called said that they're waiting for me!! Shocked me indeed. I'm not a VIP anyway. Then I rushed my friend back then to there. Surprisingly I should be the first to go, but it turned out to be another way round. Everyone gives me a warm shake except for karen who slaps my hand. Very unique right? She's gorgeous with the dress but I didn't tell her bout it. Kimberley's parents are very kind, caring and helpful. Fortunately I met a girl to teach me what to do when going to Adelaide. A turtle seminar was also held which really hypnotize me. Luckily someone save me from it. After that, we went to Bing's at 101 area. I'm just driving at 80-100 km/h yet someone said i drove very fast and dangerous. The drinks there are almost like Starbucks, Coffee Bean. I didn't take any order. I was wondering, if i drink, it'll keep my awake for the night, staring at the wall. A person who's so kind offered me to share her drinks. Thanks a lot to her for the mercy on poor people like me who cant afford the luxurious drinks there. Take lots of photos but i look like a stupid. Cant smile properly, cant stand properly. However, it's nice to gather like that. Hope there's still next time.
